PHP/Perl/SSL on the IU Webserver?
Does anyone have a script that will send an email to a non- @indiana.edu domain through our SSL-enabled smtp server (mail-relay.iu.edu)? I’ve been wracking my brain, not to mention Google, for a solution. It seems like the IU Webmaster left us all high and dry by not providing a perl or php module that will handle SSL.

Double entries in your Outlook 2007 Task Bar?
I was getting this for a while - every entry into Tasks was doubled in the To-Do bar. Delete one, they both vanished.
The Solution: run Outlook once using the following: Outlook.exe /resettodobar

If you want to turn pdf files into multi-page tiff files (to feed through Odyssey or Ariel, for instance), you could either purchase an app to do it, or just download the programs GhostScript and GhostFriend.
Ghostscript is a command-line program with many useful functions. Ghost friend is a GUI for GhostScript. Together, they make image conversions a snap. Both programs are freeware.
